报告摘要：
We first consider to compute a Z-eigenpair of a symmetric tensor. Taking into account that the problem is equivalent to finding a KKT point of a homogeneous polynomial on the unit sphere, we propose a class of iterative methods to get a Z-eigenpair of a symmetric tensor. Each method generates a sequence of feasible points such that the sequence of function evaluations is decreasing. The methods can be regarded as extension of the descent methods for minimization problems. In particular, we show that the Newton method enjoys quadratically convergence property. At last, we do numerical experiments to test the proposed methods. The results show that the Newton method is very efficient.

李董辉，教授、博士生导师，华南师范大学数学与应用数学研究所所长。曾任湖南大学数学与计量经济学院书记、中国运筹学会常务理事、广东省运筹学会副理事长。现任中国运筹学会监事会委员，广东省运筹学会监事长。Pacific Journal of Optimization编委，连续主持国家自然科学基金多项。先后获机械工业部科技进步二等奖、湖南省科技进步三等奖和广东省自然科学2等奖。2005年入选首批湖南省新世纪121人才工程第二层次人选。1994年获湖南大学理学博士学位，1999年获日本京都大学工学博士学位，先后在京都大学、新南威尔士大学、香港理工大学、香港城市大学、台湾成功大学等进行学术访问，在《SIAM J. Numer. Anal.》、《SIAM J. Optim.》、《Math. Comput.》、《Numer. Math.》等相关领域的顶级期刊上发表论文近百篇，出版多部教材和学术专辑。主要研究方向：最优化与非线性方程组数值算法，张量计算，投资组合优化等。
