报告题目:A Bernstein Type Theorem for Fully Nonlinear Elliptic Equations in 2D

报告摘要:For fully nonlinear elliptic equations on exterior domains, Li, Li and Yuan give the asymptotic behavior of solutions at infinity as the space dimensions are greater than two. The method does not work for two dimensional spaces since in this case there is no nontrivial super-solution tending to zero at infinity. In this talk, we will prove the counter result in spaces of dimension two by conformal mapping. The results can be used to study Monge-Ampere equations, special Lagrange equations, etc.
报告人简介: 李东升,西安交通大学数学与统计学院教授、博士生导师。研究方向主要是偏微分方程正则性理论与几何分析;偏微分方程在流体及电磁场中的应用。李教授在Adv. Math.、CVPDE、JFA、JDE、Math. Z.等国际高水平刊物上已发表学术论文70余篇,主持多项国家自然科学基金。
