报告摘要：In the last two decades, there has been a rapid and significant development in understanding the universal law behind a family of two dimensional random growth models. This family is called the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang universality class. It is believed, and partially proved, that all the models in the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang universality class have the same limiting distributions after a long time. In this talk, I will discuss the limiting distributions arising from this universality class and present my results along this direction.

报告人简介：刘志鹏，2014年毕业于密歇根大学，现为美国堪萨斯大学副教授，研究方向是概率论和数学物理，特别是随机增长模型的普适性极限行为。相关工作发表于JAMS, CPAM, AOP, CMP, PTRF等期刊。
